Age, sometimes I think I'm gaining it too soon
I wasn't ready yet, to say goodbye to days when people didn't need to plan a year ahead
And busy thoughts parade throughout my head
And at the age of twenty-four I've been wanting all the more

We want the remnants of our youth to stay and not disappear
Rub the wrinkles from our eyes and hide the greys throughout our hair

Charm is deceiving
